Hamhung Stadium Renovated

South Hamgyong Province has renovated Hamhung Stadium.
The stadium, equipped with an auditorium, referee room, players’ waiting room and treatment room, makes it possible to successfully hold football, basketball, volleyball, track and field, badminton and other sports events, and for the working people, youth and students to fully enjoy their cultural and emotional life while conducting colourful sports activities.
Present at the inauguration ceremony held on November 30, 2025, were officials in South Hamgyong Province, officials concerned, players and coaches of the sports teams in the province, working people in the city of Hamhung and employees of the stadium.
Pak Hyon Chol, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People’s Committee, made an inaugural address.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round various places of the stadium and watched sports games of players of the Songchongang Sports Club.
