Renovated Hamhung Grand Theatre Opens

When proud creations representing the regional transformation are mushrooming in different parts of the country under the care of the Workers’ Party of Korea which devotes itself to promoting the civilization and welfare of the people, South Hamgyong Province has renovated the Hamhung Grand Theatre to meet the modern aesthetic tastes and architectural requirements.
This makes it possible to implement the intention of the Workers’ Party of Korea to provide the people with a more civilized cultural and emotional life base and to make the locals in the province fully lead a happy life as creators and enjoyers of socialist culture.
Present at the opening ceremony of the theatre held on the spot were officials in South Hamgyong Province and relevant fields, creators, artistes and working people in the province on December 6, 2025.
At the end of the ceremony the participants enjoyed an art performance given by artistes of the provincial art troupe and members of the provincial-level art groups.
