Jikha Atlantic Salmon Pedigree Farm Inaugurated

When the country was seething with the dynamic spirit of advance for comprehensive development true to the patriotic call of the great Party Central Committee, the Jikha Atlantic Salmon Pedigree Farm was inaugurated in North Hamgyong Province.
The construction of the pedigree farm provided with all conditions including office building and hatching, young fish and fry breeding grounds laid a material and technical foundation for breeding Atlantic salmons more actively on the east coast of the country.
Its inauguration ceremony took place on January 16, 2026.
After the ceremony the participants looked round the pedigree farm.
That day, members of the mobile artistic motivation teams of Chongjin and Kim Chaek fishery stations gave a performance in celebration of the farm’s inauguration.
