Finishing Materials Factory Inaugurated in Kaesong

True to the intention of the Workers’ Party of Korea to build finishing materials bases in local areas and develop the building materials industry, officials and working people in Kaesong Municipality have renovated the finishing materials factory in their locality.
The completion of the factory, furnished with the lines of assembling various kinds of aluminium- and plastic-sash windows and producing roofing tiles and paving blocks with locally-available raw materials, makes it possible to supply enough building materials necessary for regional construction and urban management.
Present at its inauguration ceremony held on the spot on January 21, 2026, were officials concerned, builders, employees of the factory and working people in the municipality.
At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round various places of the factory.
