Fish Pickling Factory Built

True to the ennobling intention of the Workers’ Party of Korea to orient and subordinate everything to providing the people with more affluent and civilized life, a fish pickling factory has been built at the Hanchon Fishery Station.
The construction of this base for producing such various kinds of products as pickled shrimps, pickled oysters and shrimp soy sauce laid a material and technical foundation for improving the people’s diet.
Its inauguration ceremony took place on January 23, 2026.
Present there were officials in the Cabinet and the province, officials of the provincial fishery management bureau and officials and employees of the Hanchon Fishery Station.
At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the factory.
