Sonbong District Stadium Renovated

The Sonbong District Stadium has been renovated in Rason Municipality.
The stadium has been rebuilt into a comprehensive mass sports centre with a gymnasium for various sports events, including football, basketball, volleyball, and field and track. This makes it possible for working people, youth and students to enjoy colourful sports, cultural and leisure activities to their heart’s content.
Its inauguration ceremony took place on July 13, 2026.
Present there were officials, working people, youth and students and teaching staff of an extracurricular sports school in Rason Municipality and Sonbong District.
A speech was made at the ceremony.
At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round various places of the stadium.
