Solar Power Plant Built in Haeju

A solar power plant has been built in the city of Haeju, South Hwanghae Province.
The power plant, equipped with all conditions necessary for electricity production and the work and life of its employees including a solar panel district, general control room and lounge, is another material and technical foundation for the development of the regional economy and the improvement of people’s living standards.
Its inauguration ceremony took place on the spot on April 30, 2026.
Present there were Kil Pong Chan, chief secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, An Myong Jun, chairman of the provincial people’s committee, officials and working people in the province and employees of the power plant.
