Decision for the People’s Wellbeing

One rainy day in August 2021, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un inspected the construction site of the Pothong Riverside Terraced Houses District in the capital city of Pyongyang.
The project kicked off several months before, but the Pothong riverside area was taking its new, spectacular shape.
Feasting his eyes on the panoramic view of the construction site, he said with great satisfaction that big progress was made in the project.
After looking round several places in the district, he dropped in at a flat.
An official told him that the interior of the flat is so unique and palatial that it would be no inferior to a hotel suite.
After hearing him with pleasure, Comrade Kim Jong Un said: Now the Pothong Riverside Terraced Houses District has taken full shape. There was no such a modern residential district here 140 days before. As we have built a modern terraced houses district on a vacant lot for about 140 days, we should make every decision for the people’s wellbeing in a responsible manner, with an eye to 140 years ahead.
That day, the officials were firmly determined to translate into practice the ardent intention of Comrade Kim Jong Un who makes devoted efforts to provide the people with the best things and most civilized and wonderful structures at the earliest possible date.
