The Architects Union of Korea has, since its founding as a social organization of the architects and construction technicians of the DPRK, made a positive contribution to building numerous structures that are representative of the era.
As a member of the International Union of Architects and Asian region council of architects, it is faithfully fulfilling its duty and strengthening cooperation with various other countries.
In the future, too, we will contribute to the cultural development of humanity and promotion of their well-being, constantly develop architectural technology which suits the trend of the era, and strengthen its activities of exchanging technology with international organizations and other countries.

The meeting to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Architects Union of Korea was held on the 25th of March at the People’s Palace of Culture in Pyongyang. A national sci-tech presentation in the construction sector took place at the Sci-Tech Complex from July 30 to August 2, 2024, under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the Architects Union of Korea.It was held on the theme of “Comprehensive prosperity of Korean-style socialism and the Juche-oriented architecture”.
