华丽的朝鲜式海岸旅游城市在以我国东海名胜著称的明沙十里拔地而起，大显社会主义朝鲜满怀远大抱负和理想开创变革及文明新时代的的豪迈气概。
党中央指明了在风景优美的海滨修建既能突出海洋国自然地理特点，又可满足我国人民文化生活要求的富有特色的旅游休养地的构想，并细心指导了每个步骤。在她的领导下，在葛麻半岛的明沙十里已建起了许多饭店、旅馆、海水浴服务设施、丰富多彩的体育娱乐服务设施、商业及餐饮业服务设施等各种服务网点，呈现出一派美丽景观。
朝鲜劳动党总书记、朝鲜民主主义人民共和国国务委员长金正恩同志１２月２９日视察了已告竣的多个饭店和服务网点。
金正恩同志满面笑容地望着东海碧波荡漾的海滨上美丽如画的海岸旅游城市全景说：我曾经来这里指导建设工作时说过，明沙十里将会成为充满人民喜悦和幸福笑声的十里海岸、人海十里，其理想现已变成眼前的现实。
金正恩同志非常满意地说，葛麻海岸旅游区越看越美丽，蔚为大观，这里的主要服务设施建设水平很高，国家重要外事活动和政治文化活动也能承办。
金正恩同志指出，服务能力和水平乃是旅游区的价值，也是决定其发展前途的首要因素。他就积极开发多种服务行业、培育世界一流服务专家等服务基地正常经营管理方面的问题做了重要指示。
金正恩同志说，我国旅游资源丰富多样，世人对此艳羡不已；旅游业发展必不可少的稳定的政治、优越的制度和物质经济条件一应俱全；积极运用如此有利的条件和环境发展旅游业，就能开辟社会主义文化建设的新领域，还能拥有推动地方振兴与国家经济增长的又一个动力。
金正恩同志说，为此要科学地进行旅游资源调查来保证最大效益和实效，正确地规定有关旅游区开发、设施建设、自然及环境保护的法律标准，按照世界一流水平优化导游服务和旅游设施运营工作，增加旅游商品种类，这是很重要的问题。他接着提出了发展国家旅游业的具体任务。
金正恩同志说，葛麻海岸旅游区建设工程意义重大，是推动国家旅游业进入新的发展阶段的重要第一步。
金正恩同志说，以后要建设好连接金刚山旅游区和葛麻海岸旅游区的旅游文化区，还积极开发三池渊地区山岳旅游等其他地区旅游资源，巩固可发展地方经济和改善民生的物质基础，做好从根本上改变国家面貌的工作。
金正恩同志表示确信，我们祖国美丽的海滨情结浓重的葛麻海岸旅游区将变成深受我国人民和世界各国朋友青睐的富有魅力的朝鲜胜景、世界一流景区，扬名于世。
葛麻海岸旅游区自２０２５年６月起正式运营。
